What We Do

We provide food for families and individuals in such a way that it changes their life.

Food For Families & Individuals

Families drive-thru our purpose-built kitchen in Breakwater to pick up a nutritious dinner and hamper to take home and eat as a family. This approach is an Australian first.

We use this food as a gateway into people’s hearts and lives. Hunger is not the problem which needs to be addressed for our clients though food scarcity is often present. Usually, an unexpected medical episode or lack of love and appropriate role-models during formative years, leads them into a crisis situation.

We love and inspire our clients, alleviating their pain, in turn changing attitudes, encouraging better decision-making processes, and lifting them out of their current circumstances.

We are a referral service only, so we are in full knowledge of who and why our families are in need of our service. In this way we can tailor our approach to suit, with the goal to recover families back to independence.

We insist on only using the highest quality ingredients prepared in the finest way as we cannot expect to inspire and change behaviour by giving people seconds and out-of-date food. We only serve food we would serve to our family and friends.

Why We Do What We Do

Love is at the core of our charity. As Christians we are called to love our neighbour. We are called into this service. All our interactions are inspired by this ideal.

Our meals are made and shared with love. Time spent getting to know our clients and their needs is to enable us to love them in ever more ways.

Through love, we aid in comforting and healing past hurts. Love helps to bring people into the fullness of a happy life.
